Revisiting a couple of shots that I took for a @framelinesmag assignment. A couple of self learning points. Don’t rush the edit, let them sit a while. I normally edit on my phone or ipad. Great for convenience but I couldn’t get them quite how I envisioned so reworked it on the big screen. They’re now much closer to how I wanted them to turn out. Shots 1+2 being re-edits (crop, rotate etc the first needing heavier dodge+burn to lose some highlight distraction in the background. The second was a tighter crop and rotate to show the man looking tall and straight but the world around looking a bit warped (definitely feels that way to me right now). Third shot was my submission (“there can be only 1” - movie reference*) it’s aesthetically pleasing but quite a safe shot - need to be bolder! Great fun in practice 🙂
